What a celebration!

We have had some fun-filled days in Rimu.

Our trip to the Aotea Lagoon was a time to relax and enjoy time with our friends.

 



Monday's shared lunch was a chance to experience new tastes, as we shared some of our favourite foods.

Then we talked about what we had done and made some changes.
One of us stayed to explain our choice and the rest moved on to see how another group had organised their cards.

Celebrations Marc Chagall Style!

Marc Chagall (1887 -1985) was one of the first artists to paint the inner world of dreams and memories. He was born in Russia and worked as an artist in both Russia and France. Chagall painted some pictures of celebrations. Our paintings show celebrations we remember. We have tried to make them dream-like. Like Chagall, we have mixed something real with our imagintaions.

Grasshopper Tennis!

What can a net, a face, an edge and a corner have to do with a cube???

Ask one of us! This week we discovered how to 'unwrap' a cube to make a net. A cube is a 3 dimensional shape.

A popping good time!

Rimu one showed great sportsmanship on Monday! With a balloon attached to their ankle they played a game to discover a clue to this term's inquiry.

Awesome School Production

Everyone contributed to an amazing sasa performance during 'The Amazing Race.' All that hard work paid off! Congratulations to you all!!!

Pre-orders  are being taken at the office for all performances of THE AMAZING RACE. Order forms can be collected from the office. Pre-orders close on August 31st and tickets to this spectacular show are limited so be in quickly.
